Obituary: Meredith Andrew Dawson, 73, of Henefer, died yesterday at his home.

Mr. Dawson was a member of the LDS Henefer Ward and served as superintendent of the Sunday School and as a president of the LDS Summit Stake Seventies Quorum.

He was born October 16, 1883, in Henefer, a son of Meredith and Ann Bird Dawson. On September 8, 1908, he married Ellen Emily Toone in Coalville. The marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.

Surviving are his widow, Henefer; four daughters and four sons, Garnet A. Dawson, Orem; Ellis Dawson, Murray; Max A. Dawson, Kalamazoo, Michigan; Dale T. Dawson, Woods Cross; Mrs. Flora Tonks and Mrs. Lola Peterson, Morgan; Mrs. Teresa Dalton, Wasco, California; Mrs. Jane Merz, Ft. Benning, Georgia; three brothers and three sisters, Elmer Dawson, Ogden; Orson Dawson, Justin Dawson, Mrs. Annie Dearden, Mrs. Jessie Hennefer, Mrs. Elsie Richins, Henefer.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in the LDS Henefer Ward. Friends may call at the family home tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday until services. Burial in Henefer Cemetery, directed by the Patterson Mortuary in Coalville.
