Julia Kate Howell Goodwin, age 79 of Sparta, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at her home. She was born January 17, 1941 in White County to the late Walter Owen and Versie Stewart Howell. Julia's Niece, Tonya Maxwell described her well. She was an amazing woman who was outspoken, sassy, mega worrier, wonderful cook for her family, loved her family beyond words, kind of woman. She traveled to a lot of different places, like Hatti for work over the years and had tons of stories to tell. She was loved so much by her family.
She was also preceded in death by her husband: John Douglas Goodwin, Jr. 2 brothers: Don Howell and Garry Howell, one sister: Joann Howell Price (Ross) and a daughter: Deborah Wilkerson.
She was survived by her children: Randy (Sherry) Wilkerson, Gary (Darlene) Goodwin, Samantha (Dave) Haney all of White County;
Grandchildren: A.J. (Natasha) Wilkerson, Stacia (Delano) Drouillard, Brad (Leslie) Goodwin, Trent (Miranda) Goodwin, Katey Swan (Donald Sparks) and Garrett Swan
Great-Grandchildren: Matasia, Zander, John Casen, Madison, Jett, Dash, Grey, and Hollyn; Sisters-in-law: Kathy Grogan and Glenda Vinson Howell; Several Nieces and Nephews Graveside Service for the family on July 15, 2020.
