Chili – Janet was born the third of five children in January 1955 in Marcellus, NY. She was welcomed into the presence of Jesus unexpectedly on June 2, 2020 at age 65. Janet was predeceased by her father James G. Carr. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Joel; 4 children, Jennifer Harriman, Dr. Jessica (George) Austin, James (April) Harriman and Janie (Brad) Evans; 6 grandchildren; mother, Frances Carr; and 4 siblings.

A private family service was held on Friday, June 5th. An open Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 2954 S. ROCHESTER, N.Y.—Janet Harriman, a pastor's wife, died June 2. She was 65.

Janet served alongside her husband, Joel, as he has been pastor of Faith Baptist Church of North Chili, Rochester, New York, since 2006.

Janet and Joel met during their freshman year at Cedarville University and married a month after graduating in 1977. Before serving in Rochester, they were pastor and wife at Grace Baptist Church, Salamanca, New York; New Richland Baptist Church, Belle Center, Ohio; and Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, Alliance, Ohio.
