Michael, of Lansing passed away unexpectedly at his home on June 28, 2020. Mike was born to Gerald L. and Shirley C. (Hultgren) Howe.

He graduated from Grand Ledge High School Class of 1988. He was a Master Carpenter who created beauty with his hands. He worked for many years at Kares Construction and later for Christman Constructors. His skills took him to different places around the country to work with exotic woods. He was honored with the WBC Craftsmanship Award for his work with African mahogany in Washington, D.C.

Michael enjoyed golfing and was an avid bass fisherman who enjoyed fishing with his father and two nephews on Morrison Lake. Michael was a gentle soul and a kind man that was blessed with a loving family and wonderful friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald L. Howe.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley C. Howe; sisters, Dianna L. Living and Debra S. Howe; nephews, Joseph C. and Jackson C. Living along with his best friend, Dave Russell and great friends.

A Celebration of Michael’s life will be announced at a later date. Memorial contributions in Michael's name may be given to Alcoholics Anonymous, Lansing, Michigan.
