Mrs. Theresa Brubaker, 65, of Gladwin, died Saturday morning, Dec. 11, at her home following an illness of several weeks.
Born August 1, 1900, in Toledo, Ohio, Mrs. Brubaker moved to Gladwin at an earyl age with her parents, Stephen and Elizabeth Dupuis. She was married to Victor Brubaker June 24, 1920 in Toledo and they lived there until they came to Gladwin in 1945.
Mrs. Brubaker was a member of Sacred Heart Church, a past president of the Altar Society, and a member of the Little Flower Mission.
Survivors are her husband, Victor; four sons, Donald of Ottawa Lake, Bernard and Thomas of Midland, and Robert of Toledo; two daughters, Mrs. William (Betty) Ridley of Gladwin, and Mrs. Daniel (Joanne) Heinze of Sylvania, Ohio; 21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; two brothers, Enos Dupuis of Toledo, and Ernest Dupuis of Holland, Ohio; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Bladel and Mrs. Lillian Russel of Toledo, Mrs. Nellie Moomey of Ida, Mich., and Mrs. Clara Graham of Hollywood, Calif.
The services were held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Fr. George B. Artman officiating and interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The rosary was read Monday evening at the Miner Funeral Home. Gladwin County Record dated 12-15/1965.
