It is with great sadness that the family of Janet Elizabeth (Mulholland) Morrow announces the loss of their beloved wife and mother on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.

Janet was born February 4, 1938 to Leo B and Ruby Bertine Mulholland (both deceased). On November 10, 1956 Janet married her high school sweetheart, Clare T. Morrow. Janet was a devoted mother to her five children; including their daughter Teresa (Terry) Lindsey and four sons Patrick (Hiroko) Morrow, Michael (Kamie) Morrow, Philip (Susan) Morrow and Steven (Deborah) Morrow. She was beloved and surrounded by 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Janet grew up on a farm in Coral with four brothers; Robert (Betty) Mulholland, Ernest (Donna) Mulholland, Kenneth (Beverly) Mulholland and Charles (Judy) Mulholland and 2 sisters; Catherine (Robert) Menke and Leona (Maurice) Harriman.

Janet retired in 1993 after a long 20 year teaching career in the Greenville Public Schools. In retirement, she and her husband of more than 63 years, Clare, spent their time on the shores of their Coady and Clifford Lake homes, while enjoying winters camping in Florida and Alabama. One of Janet’s favorite camping trips was to Alaska with Clare and other family members.

Janet graciously participated in a long term study with the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Research Center, an organization specializing in a disease that has affected six family members, including herself, over the years.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Robert Mulholland , Ernest Mulholland, and Kenneth Mulholland; and her sister Catherine Menke.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Hurst Funeral Home, Greenville. Guests are respectfully asked to wear masks and observe appropriate social distancing. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, July 8 at West Pine Cemetery (Gravel Ridge Road between Coral Road and Kendaville Road). Memorial contributions may be given to the Rocky Mountain Multiple Sclerosis Research Center.
