The world lost one of the most beautiful souls, but Heaven gained the most beautiful guardian angel. Anna Elizabeth Robertson, of Pendleton, came into this world on Oct. 1, 2002 and was called home to be reunited with her beloved Mamaw in Heaven on July 1, 2020.
Anna, often referred to as Lizzy or Punkin Butt, had a smile that would brighten the darkest of days, a laugh that was heard above all others and a heart that knew nothing more than to love others, give multiple chances and forgive. Those that knew Anna were truly blessed because she was a ray of light, a true friend and the most giving of people. She was affectionately known for her sassy lil attitude, an eye roll she had down to a science, a stubbornness that would make your hair turn gray, and a feistiness that would drive you nuts. We wouldn't have wanted her any other way.
Anna was a graduate of Pendleton Heights High School Class of 2020, graduated in just three years, and would've walked across the stage later this month. Anderson University offered her a full ride academic scholarship. She would've studied abroad and majored in dental hygiene or physical therapy.
Anna had many hobbies, and her two most favorite were softball and riding motorcycles. She was to start playing co-ed softball with her brother, Austin, and their friends in Indy on Sundays; she simply couldn't wait to be on the same field as her Bub. She was goal-oriented, not just academically, but in all other aspects. She had bought two vehicles primarily on her own, budgeted her money and was saving up to buy her own bike, a "busa."
She was preceded in death by her loving boyfriend, Marcus Padgett; beloved paternal grandparents, "Mamaw" Debra and Patrick Robertson; paternal great-grandparents, Anna Faye and Floyd Needler; maternal grandmother, Patricia Shirley; maternal great-grandparents, Betty and Dr. Joseph Shirley; maternal uncle, Joseph "Luke" Shirley; bonus grandfather, Douglas Wright; bonus brother, Coleton Wright; and furry friend, Oreo.
Anna leaves behind her mother, Dinah Wright; father, Carey Robertson; bonus father, Christopher Wright; her brother and ROCK, Austin (McKayla) Robertson; paternal grandparents, Dr. P.R. and Gloria Shirley; paternal great-aunt and uncle, Dennis and Roxann Needler; uncle, Jeremy (Charity) Needler; paternal uncle, Clint (Jessica) Robertson; bonus grandmother, Paula Wright; bonus sister, Morghan (Kevin) Wright; bonus uncles, Paul (Katie) Wright, Andy (Bethany) Wright; bonus great-grandmother, Marilyn Nichols; bonus aunt, Myra Nichols; several cousins, special friends Kirstynn and Malkia; her "aunts and uncles" with Chosen Brothers R.C. and Second Chance to Get it Right, as well as her beloved dogs, Thor and Butters.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2020 at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd Street, Anderson, IN 46013,.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Amber Karkosky-Litten officiating.
Burial will take place at Mechanicsburg Cemetery.
