Graveside services for Mrs. Louise Burns, 95, of Kilgore will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the Danville Cemetery. Mrs. Burns passed away on Wednesday in Longview.
Louise was born on March 4, 1925 in LaRue, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Pinkie Cobb. Mrs. Burns was a Baptist and a member of Forest Home Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Larry Burns and his wife Monell of Liberty City and Wanda Burns Lorenz of Galveston; grandchildren, Jody Parks of Riverside, Texas, C.W. Lorenz of Riverside, Texas, Tiffany Lorenz of Riverside, Texas, Shane Burns of Liberty City, Texas, and Clint Burns of Liberty City, Texas; ten great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Burns was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Kenneth E. Burns; brothers, John, and Gilbert Cobb; sisters, Ula Mae Foster and Jewell Taylor; granddaughter, Sherry Lorenz.
