GEORGE FITZGERALD BRYANT III

George was born in Odessa, Texas on July 19, 1941 to Margaret Carlisle and George Bryant, Jr. . Margaret was from Kaufman, Texas and George was from Whitewright , Texas
George grew up in Denton, Texas and moved to Greenwood, Mississippi in 1959 where he graduated from Greenwood High School. He attended Mississippi State University for three semesters and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He returned to Denton and lived with his grandmother Jewel Bryant, got a job and enrolled at the University of North Texas where he graduated in 1968.

He was preceded in death by his son Christopher Fitzgerald Bryant. He is survived by his wife Lucinda Short, his sons George F. Bryant, IV and Timothy C Bryant, Step Children Luci Neuman and Brad Short and Grandchildren Carson F. Bryant , Gus F. Bryant and Lillian K Bryant.

George was truly one of the kindest men you will ever meet. He had space and grace for everyone and never had a bad word to say about anyone. He believed that we were all made exactly as we should be and that you just had to love people well. He was a gift to everyone who was blessed to know him.

George was a faithful member of St. Francis Anglican Church so donations may be made to St. Francis Anglican Church 3838 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, Texas

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date when Covid-19 restrictions allow for large gatherings.
