Laura Marie White, age 38 of Miamisburg, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Christ Hospital. She was born on November 2, 1981 in Glen Dale, West Virginia.

Laura always made her 2 daughters, Katelyn and Emily, #1. In a very strong 2nd was her mom, Rose; dad, David; and siblings, Matthew and Bethany. And then she met Chad! That was Laura's world. Those few people where what lit up Laura's eyes and made her smile. And if you were lucky enough for her to call you a friend, you already know this.

Laura has went through some difficult times in the past few years, but she ALWAYS kept her integrity. She was an exemplary example to the girls that if you set your mind to it, you can do anything! Within months Laura went from a stay at home mom family of 4 to a successful working, fix it myself, college student, single parent of 2!

Laura also NEVER missed a ball game, cheer event or school activity. Hell, she probably volunteered or ran every committee at Carlisle one time or another...and definitely coached it a time or two. Laura was so supportive of all the kids participating!

And somehow with working, school and extracurricular activities, Laura always had time to do super fun things with the girls. From just a Kings Island trip to hard to find pumpkin patches and the coolest mini vacays. The girls and Laura (and sometimes Nana too) went on so many adventures, staying in hotels overnight to swim, cavern weekends. etc, Laura was the "mini vacay" Queen!

And then during all this fun and trips with the girls, she would post all the cool stuff on Facebook. I would be so envious and even tell her how I needed to do these things and have this kind of fun with my girls. And I'd ask her how she did it, how did she find the money and time. Laura would always tell me to just do it and it doesn't have to cost a lot of money. Thankfully, I did a little more with my girls and we even joined her and the girls several times for fun adventures.

Literally, no matter how tired, sick, or broke she was, they would still find adventures. She seized the moment, enjoyed life to the fullest and made long lasting memories with her babies. And now all those Facebook posts will be treasured even more by her close family.

Well, recently I've had some difficult times in my life and I doubt I have made Laura proud. From severe depression, not getting out of bed many days, spending alot of time crying and begging God, I have now made a choice. I have decided that Laura, I am going to do it, I am going to make time, and I am going to live my life to the fullest just like you, I will make you proud! It is not too late and I am going to make the effort to not only live my life better, but better my girls life too, and all in memory of you!! #LiveLikeLaura

In looking through pics, I realized that Laura had her world and I was beyond blessed to have been in it. She has done some amazing things for me in the past 10 months, including making me laugh and telling me just how it was, which I needed and I am so thankful for. Plus, she's taught me to get in the picture because I am part of that memory too!!! No matter how Laura felt about herself that day, she got in the picture and you'd never know different her and the girls smile. PS Laura was also great at selfies!

Now we are all going to go through a tough time. However, my pain and my broken heart is nothing compared to those in her world. My prayers will be with them in the coming minutes, days, and weeks because I am here to say it doesn't get easier! There are still times I cannot breathe. That hole in your heart will always be there, but one day I pray we can accept and cope with it. And now I have another hole that pains me at a whole different level. Sadly we will each have our own pain to deal with.

At no time have I praised Laura for being perfect nor am I making her a martyr. If anyone knew she wasn't perfect, it was Laura and that girl would own it and tell you she's got it. I finally feel motivated to improve my life for me and my girls because of how well Laura mothered hers. I don't want my girls to look back and say what a crappy childhood they had, I want to give them some amazing memories!
