Ms. Peggy Gail Evans, age 72, of Chatsworth, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Newton; father, JC Reed; son, Stevie Evans; granddaughter, Brook Evans.
Survivors include, sons and daughters-in-law, John & Shanon Evans of Ellijay, Corey & Kendra Evans of Chatsworth, Richard & Leah Evans of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Angie & Curtis Williams of Dalton, and Stephanie & Walter Loyd of Chatsworth; brothers, Ray and Gary Reed; sister and brother-in-law, Joyce & Steve Priest; grandchildren, Casey, Rachel, Austin, Britt, Jessie, TJ, JJ, Joey David, Ellie, Storm, Jodi, Cody, Seth, Mitchell, and Allie; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Ava, Travis, Reece, Bre, Karley, Logan, and Sophia; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Ms. Evans will be held Sunday, July 5, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Creek Cemetery.
