Nelda June Sharp, age 75, of San Angelo, TX, passed away on Saturday, May 30th 2020. She was born on October 1st, 1944 in San Angelo to Dibrell Baird and Lydia Barina. Nelda attended Lake View High and graduated in the class of 1962, then went to work for State School. Nelda married Jay Sharp and they had two children together. Nelda loved spending time with her family and was also a great cook. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, bowling, and playing bingo.
She is survived by her son Dibrell Sharp, daughter Shelly Fowler, brother Alton Baird, grandchildren Shahla Fowler & boyfriend Aaron Rodriguez, Lydia Sharp, Joe Paul Sharp & wife Laura, Michael Brannon & girlfriend Mandy Riley, Gladys Chacon & Chad Ramirez; great-grandchildren Cayden Gray, Rainey Bradley, Zoey Bradley, Conner Sharp, Logen Sharp, Sawyer Sharp, Paige Brannon, JW Brannon, and Mackenzie Gartman. Nelda was loved dearly and will be truly missed.
Public visitation will be held at Johnson’s Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9th 2020 from 9 AM to 1 PM, followed by a graveside service at Bronte Fairview Cemetery.
