Hartsville – Mrs. Delores Windham Howell, 79, passed away Thursday morning, July 2nd, 2020, while at Carolina Pines.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 on Sunday afternoon, July 5th, 2020, from Westview Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Kevin Walters officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the residence, 1105 Hunt Drive in Hartsville on Saturday evening, July 4th, 2020, from 5-7 p.m.

A native and lifelong residence of Hartsville, Mrs. Howell was a daughter of the late Caeser & Sallie Pate Windham. She loved traveling, playing cards, and watching Hallmark Movies. One of her greatest joys each month was having dinner with her friends, “5 Alive.”

Surviving are her children, Teresa Howell Carpenter of Hartsville and Jimmy Howell of Hartsville; grandchildren: Jamie (Courtney) Carpenter, Meredith (Clint) Byrd, Emily Howell, Olivia Howell; great-grandchildren: Lindley, Stella, Braxton, and Adalyn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Skeeter” Howell; parents; and son-in-law, Glenn Carpenter.

Memorials may be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
