Visiting at Greater Israel Baptist Church, Belle Alliance, 5:30 p.m. until religious services at 8 p.m. Friday, conducted by the Rev. Ronald Dorsey. Dismissal at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial in church cemetery. Survived by two daughters, Agnes Young, Belle Rose, and Mary Young Atkins, Ponchatoula; two sons, Lawrence Young, Detroit, Mich., and Ivory Young Jr.,New Orleans; 16 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by wife, Octavia Young; parents, Dorsean and Mammy Young; a daughter, Onea Wilson; a grandson, Leonard Wilson Jr.; three brothers, Jessie Jackson, Frank Williams and Horl Young; and a sister, Coral Horace.
