The following was posted 04/28/2005 seattlepi.com:

Shuttled among foster parents for most of her life, Sirita was finally sent to her father's home in November 2003. Her stepmother, Heather Ewell, pleaded guilty to manslaughter last month in the beating death of the Lake Stevens girl.

Added Note: Her wonderful foster parents set-up a memorial site for this precious child.
