Charles “Earl” Warner, 71, of Greeley, passed away peacefully from a non COVID-19 related illness, on April 22, 2020 in Greeley.
Earl was born in Greeley to Charles & Clara (Leaf) Warner on February 26, 1949.
Earl loved all things trucks and cars, but mostly he loved his family and friends. His family also loved him dearly. The immediate family shared some special memories of Earl:
Cyndi-Going with him to get gas he always got me little Tootsie Rolls. My dad would do anything possible to always attend my school events, even driving all day and night. He was a big supporter of all of the kids’ sporting events and would almost get kicked out yelling at the refs because he was so excited!
Darin- His smile when he saw me and the twinkle in his eye. He always made sure everyone was taken care of and safe. He was a great father and taught me a lot and made me a man. I loved my dad.
Juliann-I would run to meet him after he was returning from work, then carry in his thermos and he always brought me a pack of Nibs back with him.
Aly-Papa had the biggest heart and was always willing to help anyone. I can still hear his laugh and see his smile. I used to love playing with Lincoln Logs and Tonka trucks at his house. I was so lucky to live with him my senior year in college. We watched Super Bowl 50 together, he was so happy the Broncos won!
Leah-Taking me to buy new softball equipment and then going to Gunther Toody’s afterwards.

Beau-He always talked with me about my interests, football, trucks and asked about my sweet girlfriend Megan.

Clayton-It was fun to work on his trucks and cars with him. Watching Broncos games with him.
Anna Mae-Taking us to get Happy Meals and ice cream.
McCoy-I loved going to car shows with him.
Jan-I loved him very much, he was a wonderful brother and I’m thankful for our last phone call.
Karen-Talking to him everyday and his love and concern for me and everyone else. He was always helpful and caring. We had great fun as kids running and playing on our Uncle Ardell’s farm. Earl was loved by all.
Earlene-He always said I’ll catch up with you tomorrow. When we were little and in a stroller together he yelled “Sissy wet her pants on me!”
Earl is survived by his children, Cyndi (Eugene) Mosher, Darin (Katrina) Warner, and Juliann (Jeremiah) Little; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jan (Cecil) Jensen, Karen (Bob) Reichert, and twin sister Earlene (Bob) Baker; and a large loving extended family.
He was preceded in death by his son, Troy Warner; brother, Jerry Warner; and parents.
A Celebration of Life is planned in June or July 2020.
