Louise A. "Sang" Pate
A resident and native of St. Francisville, she died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2007, at Clinton Rehabilitation Hospital at age 79. Visiting at Afton Villa Baptist Church, St. Francisville, on Saturday, Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Lionel Davis. Interment in the church cemetery. Survived by her daughter, Shirley M. Allen, of St. Francisville; son, Dewey Hampton and spouse Gladys, of New Orleans; five grandchildren, Tanya and Terri Pate, both of Baton Rouge, Aquilla and Krystle Hampton and Donald McWell, all of New Orleans; and two great-grandchildren, Clarence and Charles Hampton, of New Orleans. Preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lucille Whitfield Pate; two sisters, Leona P. Hampton and Bena P. Young; brother, Ledell Pate; son, Ledell W. Pate; and daughter, Lucille Allen.
