Carla died as the result of a car accident at Pratt.
Carla Ann Woods, 61, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020. She was born December 1, 1958 in Pratt to W. Alvin and Mary J. (Schmidt) Slief. Carla married Daniel Woods on November 2, 1991 in Wellsford. They were married for 28 years.
Carla graduated from Haviland High School in 1977. She worked as a custodian at Pratt Southwest Elementary USD 382. She was a member of Haviland Friends Church and Haviland Quilters . She enjoyed quilting, herb gardening and flowers, riding horses, tractors, teaching her grandchildren and spending special time with them.
She is survived by her husband, Dan; mother, Mary Slief of Haviland; children, Darin Franklin of Pratt, Bryin (Delta) Franklin of Pratt, Chris (Sarah) Reed of Racine, Wisconsin, John (Jennifer) Woods of Pratt, Timothy (Anna) Woods of Cottonwood Falls, Kayla (Josh) McDowell of Pratt and Kevin (Chyenne) Woods of Haviland, brothers, Steven (Pam) Slief of Pratt and Mark Slief of Haviland; and 18 grandchildren.
Carla is preceded in death by her father, W. Alvin Slief.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family service at a later date. Inurnment will be at Soldier Creek Cemetery, Belvidere.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barclay College in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt.
