Chris was preceded in death by his oldest sister, Becky Harrison, and is survived by his sister, Luanne Boulineau (Larry) of Louisville, GA and his brother Sonny Harrison of Bartow, GA. Chris has numerous nieces , nephews, cousins, and other relatives to mourn his loss.
Chris grew up most of his younger life in and around Jefferson and Washington County Georgia. He graduated from Oconee Fall Line Technical College as a certified welder. He won several awards while at Oconee in welding. He was also a CDL over the road driver between Pennsylvania and Houston, Texas for numerous years.
Chris never met a stranger and he had the gift of talking. He loved to work on engines and was nicknamed "Road Runner." Chris made friends wherever he traveled and will be missed by many.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wadley Cemetery. His father, Reverend Tom Harrison, officiating, assisted by Pastor Gene McCoy of Wadley Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials be given to the Wadley Baptist Church, P.O. Box 759, Wadley, Georgia 30477, either to the Building Fund or the General Fund.
