Jacquelyne 'Jackie' Lloyd, 88, New Rockford, formerly of Fessenden and Bismarck, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020, at the Lutheran Home of the Good Shepherd in new Rockford. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

Jacquelyne Jean Kahler, daughter of John and Magdalena (Tetz) Kahler was born December 21, 1931, at Heaton, ND. She grew up at Tuttle, ND where she graduated from high school. While attending high school, Jackie was a member of the Trojanettes basketball team and also received a number of awards for reciting poetry and singing. She also worked for several businesses including, the Old Town Hall Theater as a ticket seller and the local grocery store as a bookkeeper and clerk.
Jackie was once married to Myron 'Mick' Lloyd. They made their home in Fessenden where she worked as a waitress in local cafes and as a bookkeeper and clerk at the Quarve Store. She was an avid bowler and loved bowling with 'the Girls'.
In 1972 and 1973, Jackie attended Lake Region Junior College in Devils Lake where she studied accounting. She then worked for Wachter Enterprises in Bismarck for many years before moving to California and later to Arizona where she also worked. Because she loved the warmer climate, Jackie remained in Arizona until 2017 when she returned to North Dakota to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her children, Rodney (Brenda) Lloyd of Fessenden, Jeri Wentz of Grand Forks and Scott (Laurie) Lloyd of Fessenden; 4 grandchildren, Sabrina (Justin) Dolezal of Killdeer, Chelsey (Craig) Christensen of Richfield, MN, Kyle (Rani) Lloyd of Edgeley and Shauna (Jeremy) Bruer of Bismarck; 8 great-grandchildren, Paizley, Hugh & Etta Dolezal, Hayden Christensen, Elli & Ty Lloyd and Tayley & Gabrielle Bruer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents; 6 sisters, Alma Kahler, Lydia Olafson, Emma Owen, Clara Evans, Helen Beich and Violet Ochsner; and 5 brothers, Theodore, Robert, Edward, Walter and Clifford.
