Barbara Francis (Lambrecht) Hutson, 81, of Lee's Summit, Missouri passed away on Monday, June 29, 2020 at her home. A private family service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri.

Barbara Francis (Lambrecht) Hutson, 81, of Lee's Summit, MO passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, MO, for family members only. Memorial contributions may be made to the Class of 1956 Scholarship Fund.

Barbara was born December 20, 1938 in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of Harold Laverne and Artie Sarah Franklin (Bowling) Lambrecht. She was a 1956 graduate of Raytown High School and earned an Associate’s Degree from Longview Community College. She had lived in Northeast Kansas City and Raytown before moving to Lee’s Summit, where she had lived for 50 years. She worked for her family’s meat brokerage business, Packer’s Brokerage in Raytown for 20 years. Barbara married Robert Wilson on March 30, 1958 and later divorced. She was united in marriage to Wilbur Hutson on October 16, 2004.

Barbara was a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit. She loved life, was devoted to her daughters and Wilbur, loved family, and kept close friends throughout her life. Her love of others and wicked sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Harold Lambrecht, her husband, Wilbur Hutson, her former husband, Robert Wilson, and one brother, Robert Lambrecht. She is survived by two daughters, Michelle S. Wilson, Lee’s Summit, MO and Sherry G. Taggart, Jefferson City, MO; her mother, Artie Sarah Lambrecht, Blue Springs, MO; and five grandchildren, Christian Hamilton, Ryan Hamilton, Davis Hamilton, Sarah Hamilton and Reagan Taggart.
