The Ben Merrell in this memorial should not be confused with the Benjamin Merrell (1820-1864) who has memorial #33517231 in this cemetery.
It is probable that this grave is that of Benjamin Merrell Jr., brother of Eli Merrell. Family Search gives his birth year as 1795 and his death year as 1852.
The headstone on the grave was photographed by Find A Grave contributor Howard Case. He says the headstone is located approximately five feet northwest of the monument for Eli and Mary Merrell. There are no dates inscribed on the headstone. The only inscription is the name Ben Merrell.
