April was the daughter of Beverly Dawn Bowden Watson of Temperanceville, VA and the late Gerald "Jerry" Bowden, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Gerald "Jay" Bowden, Jr. and her stepfather, Raymond S. Watson.
April worked in Accounting for Atlantic Tractor for 25 years. She was very involved in PTA when both of her daughters were in school and won the Maryland Department of Education Parent Involvement Award for Worcester County in 2010. April was an avid camper and hiker, and loved to take walks every day. There was nothing she enjoyed more than a great party and spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Kenny Adams; two daughters, Nikki Adams, and her fiancée Tyler Aydelotte, and Carly Adams, both of Pocomoke City, MD; her stepsister, Beth Watson Barnes, and her husband, Alan, of Salisbury, MD; her mother and father-in-law, Ken and Shirley Adams of Snow Hill, MD; two sisters-in-law, Shari Davis of Snow Hill, MD, and Linda Bowden of Pocomoke City, MD; two nieces, a nephew and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017, at Remson United Methodist Church on Sheephouse Road in Pocomoke City, MD, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
