Raphine Resident Was Dynovis Employee
Michael Lee Grant, 60, passed on to heaven Sunday, June 21, 2020 at his home in Raphine, Virginia after a battle with cancer.

Mike was born March 6, 1960, a son of William K. and Mary A. (Fox) Grant.

He grew up in Brownsburg, lived a short time near Bridgewater, before settling in Raphine.

Mike was employed by Dynovis, Inc. in Fairfield.

Mike loved NASCAR racing and spent much of his time "enjoying the race." He also loved his "old Jeep" and exploring the countryside in it.

In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by two siblings, Richard Grant and wife, Angela, and Gail Bryant and husband, Chris; six nieces and nephews, Kelsee Green and husband, Stewart, Logan Grant, Luke Grant, Isabell Grant, Michala Bryant and Grant Bryant; and three very dear friends, Henrietta King, Mrs. Clyde Reese and Jamie Hayes.

Mike was preceded in death by his wife, Fonda (Painter) Grant.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 25 with visitation with the family one hour before at 10 a.m. The service will be held at Henry Funeral Home in Staunton by Pastors Ralph Coleman and Ken Byrd. Burial will follow in Spring Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Fairfield.
