Barbara Gerringer Lee Andrews, 85, a life long resident of Alamance County, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Beacon Place in Greensboro, NC. Barbara was born in Elon, NC on September 12, 1934, to Clyde Monroe Gerringer and Sarah Eanes Gerringer.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Lee Finch (Jack) of Greensboro, NC, her daughter-in-law Susan Glenn Lee and grandson Barry Dean Lee, Jr. of New London, NC, and her brother Shirl Lee Gerringer of Gaston, SC. Also surviving are loving sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and many good friends.
Barbara was preceded in death by 2 wonderful husbands. H. B. Lee, Jr. was her first love and the father of her children. Richard Andrews was her loving husband and companion later in life. She was also preceded in death by her son Barry Dean Lee, Sr, her grandson Justin Boyd Lee, her parents, and her brothers Everette Gerringer and Wayne Gerringer.
For the health and safety concerns of family and friends, a private graveside service will be held at Alamance Memorial Park with Rev. Mick Raynor of Emmanuel Methodist.
