Paul Galbraith

Paul H. Galbraith, 88, Sycamore, died at 12:35p.m. Tuesday, June 26, 1979, at Wyandot Manor Nursing Home, Upper Sandusky.

He was born April 27, 1891, in Seneca County to William B. and Blanche (Clark) Galbraith. On June 27, 1917, he married Cleone A. Staum, who survives.

Galbraith retired as a telegrapher for the New York Central Railroad in 1955 after 46 years of service. He was a member of Sycamore United Church of Christ.

He was a World War I veteran, a member of Sycamore American Legion, the Order of Railroad Telegraphers, Wyandot Lodge No. 314, F&AM, McCutchenville, and the lodge council chapter Consistory Scottish Rite bodies, Valley of Toledo.

The Rev. William H. Chidester will conduct services at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Moore Funeral Home in Sycamore. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore.

Visitation at the funeral home is after 2 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
