Mary Ann Samudio Ayala age 66, went home to our Lord on Friday, June 12, 2020.

She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 26, 1954 to Delia Garza Samudio and Jesse Diaz Samudio. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughters Delia and Deby Ayala, brothers Jesse, Johnny, and Roger Samudio, and cousin Mike Garcia III aka Primo Mike.

Survivors include her sisters Lucy S. Kreider, Tony Samudio, Dora S. Cortez, and brother Benjamin Samudio. Children include Paul and Clara Ayala, Raised her grandchildren Guadalupe Velez “LJ” and Star Lynn Pena and her beloved dog Peanut Ayala along with her grand niece Serena Samudio whom they would call Nana.

She was a devoted Christian, loved to serve the Lord, a prayer warrior and lived by his words everyday. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant/Caretaker most of her life. She was the oldest in the family and helped take care of her sisters and brothers. She also helped raise numerous nieces and nephews. She was kind, loving, and would give her last dollar to help anyone and we are all going to miss her.

Public visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Guardian funeral home chapel ''A" with a Service to Celebrate Mary Ann's life to begin at 7:00 p.m.
