He was preceded in death by his parents Jim Ray, Melva Chandler and his brother Denny Ray.
Wes was born in Prineville, Or, he went to Prineville High School. He then joined the Army on March 30, 1959 and was honorably discharged on June 15, 1962.
Wes was a logger. Skidder Operator, he loved working in the woods and logged for 50 years. He worked for many logging operations including Couch Logging, Jim Woodward, Delco, John Stevens as well as Triangle C Logging.
He is survived by his wife Linda of almost 30 years, sons Bill and John, daughters Michelle Evans and Kelsey Gregory, step children, Tammy, Mathew and Andrew, 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
Ray married Linda on October 26, 1990.
Celebration of life service will be held on June 20th at his home.
