Frederick “Butch” Eugene Phillips, age 71, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at his residence. He was born Nov. 6, 1948 in Mercer County, West Virginia the son of the late Jean Reynolds Phillips. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents who raised him, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reynolds and a special aunt, Faye Reynolds. Butch was formerly employed with Crown Wood Products in Mocksville, NC and Component Concepts of Thomasville, NC. For many years he was a member of Memorial Park Wesleyan Church. Butch had a passion for Ham Radio Operating with # K4MGB. He also enjoyed NASCAR Racing and restoring of MGB Classic Cars. He was married to the mother of his children Mickey Daniel Phillips who preceded him in death on March 2, 2012 and then later he then married Dorothy Lee Allen who survives of the home. Surviving are two sons, Jeremy Eugene Phillips and wife Kerlin of Thomasville and Bradley Daniel Phillips and wife Kristin of Trinity, NC; one step-daughter, Brianne Starin and husband Josh of Durham, NC; eight grandchildren, Daniel Cye Phillips, Lukas Jeremiah Phillips, Jakob Peter Phillips, Addison Marie Phillips, Olivia Daniel Phillips, Connor Starin, Anna Starin and Norah Starin; and Special Beagle his baby, CeCe of the home. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, July 3, 2020 at 3:00 PM in Floral Garden Park Cemetery
