Effie attended Cross Church and loved singing her Gospel songs. She was a pro at fishing and claimed she was the best fishing partner her husband ever had. Effie enjoyed bowling and golfing. One of her most favorite moments is when she taught her beloved poodle, Pepe, to eat corn on the cobb holding it with her paws.
Effie was preceeded in death by her loving parents, James Henery Davis and Annie Thomason; her six brothers; her four sisters; and her poodle, Pepe.
She lives on by her husband, Louis Needham; her daughter, Mary Jane Needham Fuller (Ray); her grandchildren, Theresa Lynn Fuller Williams (Jene), Amy Nicole Fuller Angel (Les); her five great-grandchildren; her brother Grady Davis; and many loving friends.
