Jan-Ell was employed as a housekeeper for several Manistique area families. She was a member of the Manistique Bible Church. She was an avid card player, enjoyed working and tending to her flower garden, yard work, and also was an avid deer hunter, hunting with her husband Ralph. Most of all, Jan-Ell enjoyed time spent with family, and looked forward to their visits.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Miller, Lori Miller, and Wendy Miller; son, Timothy (Sosha Adkins) Miller, all of Manistique; son-in-law, Dan Wood of Manistique; brother, Dallas (Eleanor) Gould of Manistique; grandchildren, Chelsea (Dennis) Goldi; great-grandchildren, Joey (Storm Schley) Miller and Tasha (Jeremy Jones) Miller; and close friend Matt Bush, all of Manistique. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; and her brother, Ronnie Gould.
The family will remember Jan-Ell privately, and interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Manistique. Memorial contributions in Jan-Ell’s name may be made to the Manistique Bible Church.
