Rose Mary M. Benson
Benson, Rose Mary M. of Maple Grove, MN. It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, peacefully in her 97th year, on June 5th, 2020. Fiercely independent til the end, she was born in Albany, MN, to Michael and Mame Ebnet; lived, worked and raised her kids for many years in N. Mpls. Retired to Osakis, MN and Mission, TX. She was an accomplished golfer into her 90s and a champion bowler in the 1960s. She loved her parties with the old N. Mpls. neighbors and the gatherings of friends at the Osakis Golf Club. Predeceased by husband of 70 years, Gordon. Survived and loved dearly by sons David of Maple Grove and Mark of Alexandria, daughter Nancy of Richfield, brother Vernon Ebnet, grandson Davin, many nieces and nephews and friends from all over and at Rose Arbor. A celebration of life may be held in the future.
