Mary Collene Keel, 83, of Granite City, IL passed away at 5:00 a.m., Monday, November 5, 2018 at Stearns nursing and Rehab Center in Granite City, IL.
She was born November 25, 1934 in Bertrand, MO to Lloyd and Mary (nee: Baker) Metcalf.
Mary and Leland Keel married December 27, 1953 in Corinth, MS.
She was a member of Harvest Community Church in Pontoon Beach, IL and loved taking part in all church activities. Mary and Leland love to go on motor cycle rides. She had worked at CPI in St. Louis, MO.
She is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Eva M. & Pete Babic of Pocahontas, IL and Sara K. & Sam Bowler of Glen Carbon, IL; 1 son, Leland A. & Lee Ann Keel of Granite City, IL, 8 grandchildren, Janeice & Brad White, Peter & Mary Babic, Joshua & Katie Craig, Andrew Craig, Lizzie Bowler, Roger Joe Bowler, Rachel Whitaker and Spencer Hall, great-grandchild, Jay Craig, two brothers, Raymond Metcalf and Marshall & Julia Metcalf.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by both parents, brother, W.T. Metcalf and two sisters, Mildred Metcalf and Rubye Hawes.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Harvest Community Church, Pontoon Beach, IL, with Pastor Roy Boyer officiating. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 9, 2018 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston, MO. Memorials may be made to the Harvest Community Church Building Fund.
