Betty was the oldest of 7 children to Bruce and Margaret Phillips. She grew up on a farm in Pea Ridge, Alabama near Montevallo. She was married to Glenn Hale of Montevallo for 60 years and was a loving mother to five children. She loved Jesus, her family and the American flag. Betty also enjoyed playing bingo, Elvis, candles, birds, butterflies, sweet potatoes and banana pudding!
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sons, Mike Hale and Randy Hale.
