Vonda Gean (Beckman) Arnold, 90, passed away at her home in Deer Park, MD on May 20, 2020.

Vonda was born in Terra Alta, WV on October 26, 1929, and was the daughter of the late Clarence W. Beckman and Anna V. (Evans) Beckman. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Shaffer and Helen Rotruck; and two brothers, Dale and Clarence "Allen" Beckman.

Along with her late husband, Paxton "P.G." Arnold, she owned Arnold's General Store in Deer Park, MD. for many years. Vonda was a member of Deer Park United Methodist Church where she was pianist.

Vonda is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Simpson, Deer Park, and Pamela Arnold, Shawsville, VA; three grandchildren, Kimberly Goessler, Jeffery Simpson, and Douglas Simpson; several great-grandchildren; and one sister, Patricia Fleming, Atwater, OH.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
