Bob was born on October 12, 1942, in Manitowoc, son of the late Kjelmar and Genevieve (Wincentsen) Christiansen. He attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1961. Bob was a welder for many years at Manitowoc Shipbuilding and later Bay Shipbuilding.
Bob is survived by three brothers and four sisters: Donald (Dorothy) Christiansen, Whitelaw; Leroy (Audrey) Christiansen, Manitowoc; Janet Allen, Highland, IN; Pat (Jack) Meulemans, Manitowoc; Karen (Bruce) Hansen, Manitowoc; Dorothy (Van) Neff, Manitowoc; Jack (Marcia) Christiansen, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Nancy Aulik; one brother-in-law: James Allen.
A private family service of comfort was held at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral of Manitowoc. Burial of Bob’s cremated remains will take place at a later date.
