The funeral of Aaron N. Finch was held from his late home, on the River Road Friday afternoon, at 1 o'clock. Rev. L. G. Colson officiated. Mrs. R. C. Knapp and Fred P. Barnes sang Jesus Saviour Pilot Me, Some Sweet Day By and By, and Sometime We'll Understand. The hearers were James Kinne, Wm. Finnegan, James Smith and Vincent Wright. The remains were placed in the vault at Forest Park Cemetery.

Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mrs. C. B. Smith and daughter Ascenath and the Misses Ethel and Lillian O'Neil of Syracuse, William Finch, Jr., of Rome and Mrs. Ida Smith of Herkimer.

Mr. Finch died last week Tuesday after an illness of pneumonia, which was a result of the measles. He was born in Florence, June 19, 1877. On Jan. 4, 1912, he was married to Mrs. Uriah O'Neil of Florence, to whom, and the rest of the family, is extended the heartfelt sympathy of many friends. Mr. Finch will be greatly missed as he was a man of high qualities. He was a good neighbor and a kind and loving husband and father, loved and respected by all who knew him. There are left to mourn besides his wife one daughter, Eylvia, age three and three stepchildren: his aged father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. William Finch, Sr., of Florence: two brothers, William, Jr., of Rome and Fred who resides in the West: three sisters, Mrs. C. B. Smith of Syracuse. Miss Olive Finch of Florence and Mrs. Herbert Saunders of Camden.
