Danny Lee Turner, 86, of Burleson, Texas passed away on June 26, 2020. He was born May 27, 1934 to his parents, William and Geraldine Turner in Horatio, Arkansas. Danny graduated from Horatio High School in 1952 and received his Associate’s Degree from Tarrant County College. Danny was a member of the Army National Guard, served 4 years in the Navy, and retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service. After serving in the military, Danny worked for Joshua ISD and retired after 17 years.
He married Margie Nell Arwine on January 23, 1954. The couple recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Geraldine Turner; brother, Robert C. Turner; and grandson, Zachary Turner.
Danny is survived by his wife, Margie Turner; son, Danny D. Turner and wife, Christina; daughter, Dana Castles and husband, Paul; daughter, Debbie Kerr and husband, Craig; son, Don Turner and wife, Tami; grandchildren, Kayli Kerr, Chris Kerr and wife, Rebecca, Landon Turner, Aniston Turner; great-granddaughter, Cori Kerr; brother, Randy Hudson and wife, Anita; sister, Ramona Griggs and husband, Jimmy; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 10 am to 11 am Tuesday, June 30th at Laurel Land Funeral Home, Fort Worth. Graveside Service: 11 am Tuesday, June 30th in Laurel Land Memorial Park, Fort Worth.
