BETHANY, Mo. - Ann (Crabtree) Hiatt, 73, Bethany, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2000, at a Liberty (Mo.) hospital.

Mrs. Hiatt was a retired real estate agent.

Born July 27, 1927, in Harrison County, Mo., Mrs. Hiatt was a member of the First Christian Church in Bethany.

On Feb. 23, 1946, she married Darrell Hiatt in Troy, Kan. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Hiatt was preceded in death by a son, Jack; her parents, William H. and Pearl Crabtree,; two brothers, William and Jeff Crabtree; and two sisters, Helen Daily and Maxine Klein.
Additional survivors: a son James R., Smithville, Mo.; four sisters, Mary Rinehart, Bethany, Kathleen Wilson, Los Angeles, Virginia L. Brenizer, Fallbrook, Calif. and Betty R. Yard, Yermo, Calif., and two grandchildren.

Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. Burial: Miriam Cemetery , Bethany. Visitation: after 1:30 p.m. today at the funeral home where the family will receive friends after 7 tonight. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice in care of the funeral home, PO Box 46, Bethany, MO 64431.
