Lonnie Ray Brown age 67 of Jewell Ridge, Virginia passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Johnson City Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born in Tazewell County, Virginia and was the son of the late Harold and Irene Elswick Brown, formerly of Tazewell County. He was a 1972 graduate of Richlands High School and worked most of his working on automobiles as a mechanic and also did car restoration. He attended the Friendly Chapel Church on Jewell Ridge and was a lifetime resident of the area.

The funeral service for Lonnie Ray Brown will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, June 30th, 2020 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. Thomas Stranger officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Joey Scarsberry, Robin Smith, Justin Keens, Chris Kitts, Tyler Brown and Isaac Brown. The family will begin receiving friends at 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 pm.
