Steven Lynn Weber, age 54, of Berkeley Springs, WV, died on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at War Memorial Hospital.

Born January 28, 1966 in Berkeley Springs, WV, he was the son of the late Ralph Wayne, Sr. and Mary Ellen Corbin Fox.

He was a Christian. Steve was a Corporal with the United States Marine Corp. until his honorable discharge in 1989, where he earned the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Meritorious Mast and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a 1985 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School. Steve worked as a field superintendent with Stafford Systems, Inc. based in Manassas, VA. He enjoyed spending time with the love of life Amy and his two beautiful daughters. Steve also enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, camping, playing cornhole, floating on the river, watching westerns on television, and rooting for his favorite NFL team, the Washington Redskins.

Steve is survived by his wife, Amy Jane Somers Weber and his daughter Zoë at home, his daughter, Kendall Madison Dawson and her fiancée Nicholas Frendzel of Berkeley Springs, four sisters, Cynthia Diane Hinckle of Hancock, MD, Anita Rae Gue, Sandra Kay Stotler and her husband Donald, Tina Marie Ditto and her husband Jeff all of Berkeley Springs, two brothers, Jeffery Wayne Weber and his fiancé Connie of Viola, DE, Ralph Wayne Fox, Jr. and his companion David Rainey of Martinsburg, WV, his mother-in-law, Brenda Elizabeth Somers of Berkeley Springs, father-in-law Randolph Somers and his wife Sandy of Gerrardstown, WV, as well as two special people that considered him as a son, John and Erma Dawson of Berkeley Springs, and was loved and adored by many nieces and nephews, and many other brothers from another mother.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Greta Ellen Fox.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, WV. Burial with military graveside honor will be provided by the Tri-State Honor Guard in Bethel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Steve’s memory may be made to Tri-State Honor Guard, c/o Tom Kiley, 527 N. Washington Street, Berkeley Springs, WV 25411.
