"STARK, Carl Thomas - Age 72. Born June 1, 1931. Died at the Nashville Veterans Hospital on December 26, 2003. Preceded in death by father, Thomas Austin Stark, and mother, Beulah Kemp Stark. Survived by son, Clarence Thomas (Kathy) Hamm; granddaughters, Erin Lindsay and Lauren Kelsey Hamm, all of Tyler, TX; sisters, Mollie S. (John) Lyle and Jettie M. (Gary) Cook of Orlando, FL; brothers, Paul E. (Vivian) Stark of Barnwell, SC, Harold R. (Linda) Stark of San Antonio, TX, and William E. Stark of Nashville, TN. Mr. Stark served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross, Silver Star, and Bronze Star.
