Carol Christensen, 76, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Lorain on June 13, 2020 after a long illness. She was born on April 29, 1944 in Kew Gardens, New York. Her family moved to Lorain in 1957 where she graduated from LHS in 1961.

She served in the US Army from January 1963 to June 1964 and received an honorable discharge as a PFC. She returned to the Lorain area to attend college, earning an Associate's Degree from LCCC, a Bachelor's Degree from Oberlin College, and a Master's Degree in Psychology from Cleveland State. She lived in Michigan for many years with her companion Paul Manning. When he passed away in 2019, Carol returned to Ohio to be closer to family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frances and James P. Christensen.

She is survived by her sister Elaine (Maurice) Novak, brother Paul (Lori) Christensen, brother Kenneth (Donna) Christensen, and nieces and nephews.

Private family service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
