Marge Draney died January 19, 1994, at Laguna Niguel, California.

The oldest of 13 children, she was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Emma Delilah and George Wiley Marks. Sarah Marjorie Marks Draney was born August 3, 1909. She married Earl C. Draney March 27, 1930, and together they owned and operated the Metropolitan Laundry and Dry Cleaning Co. for 30 years. During her lifetime, she was involved in many civic activities including the state and local PTA, Utah Safety Council, Center for the Blind, Days of '47 Parade, Salt Lake Republicans and the Utah Chamber of Commerce. Her greatest happiness was being with her husband, daughter, and her best friends of 50 years--Ina and Clinton Young.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan, six sisters, and Ina and Clinton Young.

Graveside services will be Monday, January 24, at 11 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, on Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and on Monday one hour prior to services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to your local Alzheimer's Foundation or to the charity of the donor's choice.
