He attended St. Joseph's, Baytown Junior High, and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. After attending Lee College, he worked in the industrial valve business and eventually opened his own industrial valve business, Pelly Industrial Enterprises.
Johnny is well known for giving his giving spirit and for his desire to put a smile on everyone's face.
Johnny is predeceased by his late son, Chad Lillard, and his parents, Thelma and Gerry Lillard.
He is survived by his junior high school sweetheart, wife, Claire; his son, Chase wife Amy, and their two beautiful daughters, Morghan and Grace. Also survived by Chad's wife, Ashley, and grandchildren, Colton, Cash and Rainey.
