Sheila Dixon was a beloved wife and amazing Mom. She is survived by her husband David Dixon and her childen Jeff Dixon Pamela Blandford, Kelly Savoy, Mark Dixon(deceased), Shannon Dixon Ferro and Micah Dixon. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Tabatha Rose Blandford, Ray Blandford, Brad Blandford, Caleb Ferro, Josh Ferro, Charity Ferro, Gabriel Dixon and Adrian Dixon. While growing up, Mom and Dad was foster parents for over 30 years. They provided a safe Christian home for 80 children. They even adopted a few too. I believe foster parenting was a part of her calling or mission from God. We had a unusually large family many times but God still provided for our needs. Mom rarely spoke about her faith but lived it through her actions. In her spare time. she loved to cross stitch. Some of her artwork included scripture too. One of my favorite memories was when the entire family went on a Caribbean Island cruise. Mom really loved family get togethers. I think one of the hardest things for a foster parent and brother is to say goodbye. As her son,it saddens me to finally say goodbye and thanks for allowing me a part of your life too.
