Ronald F. Lovell, age 78, of Bourbonnais, died on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at home. Ronald was born on April 17, 1938 to Fred and Nellie (Clodi) Lovell in Cabery, IL. He married Patricia Yates on April 1, 1967 in Momence, IL. Patricia died in 2016. He was a production worker for Kankakee Roper. He was also a maintenance worker for Maternity BVM before retiring. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and gardening. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
Ronald is survived by 7 sons, Ronald (Angie) Lovell, Jr. of Ringgold, GA, Ray (Jennifer) Lovell of Bourbonnais, IL, Ricky (Molly) Lovell of Bourbonnais, IL, Bob (Heidi) Ulm of Bourbonnais, IL, Brad Lovell of IL, Scott Lovell of FL and Todd Lovell of FL; two daughters, Rhonda Boswell of Bourbonnais, IL and Debra (Jack) Ulm of Michigan City, IN; one sister, Rosemary Schultz of Monee, IL; sixteen grandchildren, Amber Ulm, Ethan and Noah Lovell, Ashley, Briana and Tyler Lovell, Zachary, Haley and Maya Boswell, Annabel, Nola and Benjamin Lovell, Jeffrey Fusner and Teri, Nicole and Rodney Ulm and two great-grandchildren, Ariana Kelly and Liam Boswell.
Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, his parents, one son, Kevin Ulm and three brothers, Raymond, Leo and Vernon Lovell.
Private family services will be held.
