Mary was born on January 6, 1925, in Cash, AR, to the late William Jackson and Verda Mae (Best) Cooper. In 1942, she moved to Jonesboro, and then on to Michigan in 1943 at age 18, where she worked at the Ford Bomber Plant and then for several years owned her own beauty salon. On October 24, 1949, she married Donald H. Worley.
Mary always had a keen interest in home fashion and art and was proud of her collection of handmade pottery. She enjoyed reupholstering and refinishing furniture. She spent time assisting and caring for family members. In February of 1986, following Donald's retirement, Mary and Donald moved to Jonesboro.
She was preceded in death by her siblings.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; sons, Stephen D. Worley and David W. and his wife, Rena; granddaughter, Savannah E. Worley; other relatives and many friends. Z5
