Fred worked 27 years in Zambia. He coordinated the digging of 14 water wells, hunger relief and seed distribution projects. After retirement, he worked with music and missions. Fred belonged to The Singing Men of North Central Texas. Fred shared stories of growing up on the farm and Zambia experience in his hometown newspaper. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, 3 children, sister, brother, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
