Carole Jean Curry (Ellery), 63, passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at her home in Watauga, Texas.
She was the wife of Gary W. Curry, with whom she shared 44 years.
She was born in Brockton, Massachusetts on May 12, 1957. She was the daughter of Raymond L. and Carole P. Ellery.
After graduating from Abington High School, Carole served four years in the United States Army as an air traffic controller where she and Gary met and began their lives together. She was honorably discharged as a Specialist E-4.
She enjoyed dressmaking, baking, fine arts, and being a caregiver to her family and pets. She was dedicated to serving in her children’s and grandchildren’s schools by volunteering in the PTA and in their classrooms.
Carole will be remembered for her unconditional and tireless love for her husband, children, and grandchildren; her kindness and humor; and her ability to make a stranger feel like a friend.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carole Ellery, and is survived by her father, Raymond Ellery; her husband, Gary Curry; her children: Timothy Curry, Melissa Berry, Tamara Curry, and Brian Curry; her grandchildren: Madison, Colton, Sarah, Emily, Matthew, Tristan, Adrian, Aryssa, Nora, and Amy; her siblings: Deborah Moore, Raymond Ellery, Cheryl Curlew, Chris Ellery, and Joseph Ellery; and eight nieces and six nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 12:30 PM at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral home, and a service of committal will take place immediately after at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park at 5725 Colleyville Boulevard in Colleyville, Texas,
